IHE Innovative Hospitality and IHE Innovative Business Services are products of a merger which took place in 2015. The four components of the new entity, namely Anaplasis Consulting, Argonauts Business Consultants, Dekaplus Business Services and Parouxis Consultants amassed their expertise and experience to offer business a new professional proposition to manage the challenges of the new economy as they slowly become noticeable. The new entity, based in Limassol, is an organisation offering a wide spectrum of consulting and professional training services, and whose common ground is innovation.

Our management systems consulting represent the spearhead of our services. Our hundreds of certified systems which we continue to support, across all economic sectors, in Cyprus and abroad verify customer loyalty and are vivid proof of the quality of service we offer. Furthermore, our project management team and network of qualified associates can undertakes assignments of any business nature, from the formation of a simple business plan to the launching of an enterprise.

For the IHE team, the high quality of the offered services remains an uncompromised commitment.  Our consultants and trainers receive training on their subject matter as well as on how to maintain our high standards of services. As of February 2018, IHE Innovative Hospitality Education runs its own Hospitality Academy. The Academy offers courses for individuals who either desire to start a professional career in the hospitality sector or want to enhance their existing one and move higher. The Academy also offers accreditation possibilities for those who seek to certify their professional qualifications.

OUR TEAM

Antonis Georgiou is one of the Directors of the company. He has more than 25-year long experience in consulting and professional training. He specializes in management systems and more specifically on quality, food safety-HACCP, environment, occupational health and safety. Furthermore, he has extensive know-how on business plans and feasibility studies, human resource management and laboratory accreditation. Antonis is a certified trainer by Human Resource Development Authority (ID No. Ε000782) and his teaching experience exceeds 5000-man hours.

 He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tuclausthal, Germany. He is an approved Health & Safety Auditor by the Department of Labor Inspection (approval number 9.42.6.15.51), a member of the Cyprus Association of Business Advisors and President of the Cyprus Association of Vocational Training.  Finally he is a member of various professional bodies such as the Cyprus Technical Chamber (ETEK), the Association of Mechanical Engineers of Cyprus and the Association of Engineering Scientists.

Mr. Christos Zachariades is also a company Director and manager of Business Consultancy Division. He is a business consultant, trainer and lecturer in the areas of management systems, general management, health and safety, human resource management and hospitality. In addition, he is managing and researching projects involving private companies, non-governmental organizations and local authorities.

He holds a Bsc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, USA and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University, USA.  He has worked in the industry as Production Manager and Quality, Environment and Safety Manager. Christos is a trained Lead Auditor (IRCA – United Kingdom), a management systems auditor, an approved trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA, ID No. E000462) and an approved occupational health and safety consultant from the Department of Labor Inspection (approval number 9.42.6.15.111). He has made various publications and presentations.

Mr. Christos Parouxis is also a company Director and Manager of Hospitality Services Division. He is a consultant and trainer specializing in the HORECA sector. Simultaneously, he is an external examiner and verifier for the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA, Cert. No. 3252-599387-0009) and an approved trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA, ID No. E000994).

He studied in the Netherlands at SVH Academy in Hotel and Catering Industry. His career began in the Netherlands in 1985 as a restaurant manager and owner and continued in Cyprus as a food and beverage manager in five-star hotels, such as Four Seasons and Le Meridien Hotel.

Mr. Christos Nicolaides is also a company Director and the manager of Funded Programmes Division (national and European). He is a consultant and trainer in the areas of logistics, general management and information technology, while being the coordinator of several European projects. He is an approved trainer by the Human Resource Development Authority (HRDA, ID No. Ε000692)

He holds a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto, Canada. He is also a certified European Programs Project Manager by acquiring a Master in Technologies for the Development of EU Projects from the European Academy. He manages and writes Erasmus+, COSME and Horizon 2020 entrepreneurial projects and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Management Institute, UK.

Anastasia Zarkada Katsouri is the Head of the Training Division. She has over 20 years of experience in management and training, and has also been involved in European Programmes. She had held a managerial position in an association with mental disabilities for 7 years.

Litsa Kombou is the Administration and Accounting Officer. She holds a certification in secretarial studies from C.D.A College and is responsible for accounting, planning, organizing and executing the National Professional Qualification Systems (SEP) and other administrative and secretarial duties.

Despina Georgiou is part of the business consultancy team. She holds a degree in European Studies and Foreign Languages and since December 2015 she has been working for IHE Innovative Hospitality Education Ltd as Junior Management Systems Consultant, where she has developed several management systems, manuals and produced reports for a variety of businesses in the service sector such as logistics and pharmaceutical companies as well as the hotel and food industry.

Daniel Ellinas has been a part of the business consultancy team since November 2016 and is involved in management systems and health and safety projects. Graduated with a Business Administration degree from the University of Portsmouth, UK. Undertakes the development of health and safety audits and risk assessment studies, prepares manuals and systems in the HORECA and other industries. He belongs in project groups or in project activities, prepares management systems and risk assessment studies based on customers’ needs and conducts researches for data gathering necessary to develop a study. He is currently studying Purchasing and Supply Chain Management – Shipping at MIEEK (post-secondary institutes of vocational education and training) as well as Understanding Shipping (ICS).

Marina Vassiliou is a Hospitality Consultant and Trainer as part of the Hospitality Services Division since November 2017. She holds a BSc Management in Hospitality and Tourism Industry from the University of Technology in Cyprus and a MSc in Business and Management from, University of Bedfordshire. She has a ten-year work-related experience in the hospitality sector and also teaches in post-secondary institutes of vocational education and training for the past four years.
